Is the iPhone 6 Plus too big?

In your opinion is the iPhone 6 Plus too big to fit comfortably in your pocket and use with one hand?

Short answer: yes. The iPhone 6 AND 6 Plus are too big and too awkwardly thin and slippery to be used one handed. In fact, even with two hands I found them both awkward to handle, e.g., for landscape photography without a rubber case or gloves made from fly-paper.

I'm not an Apple hater, but: the design/s suck. I thought my 6in Lumia 1520 was a bit awkward, and alas - along come not 1 but two iPhones that are much worse. Both actually smaller. Tsssk.

Don't get me wrong: they are great phones in every other aspect, but nah...
Having said that: I would get the 6 Plus of the two. You kinda need to accept that it's a
device for two hands, and at least it has OIS to compensate for the fumbling with the slippery mess :p

Also: in an odd way I found the larger screen/s kinda highlight how dull iOS has become.
It's efficient, but: it's no worse on a 4in iPhone. In fact, it's more efficient and faster, because you can do everything comfortably with one hand and don't need to constandly read just your grip. I'm not a dwarf, by the way.

As to the pocket-part of your question: that depends, but probably YES. The 6 is just about manageable.

True...
I was speaking from my point of view.
Had I paid for the one I used,... or had I been tied into a contract....or or or... I would have
'sucked it up'. adapt, and get used to it. I had the luxury to try it, and then return to a couple of phones that I personally prefer - partly because of their designs/sizes...

Also: I admit - were I to spend the necessary kind of money, I would probably go for the 6 Plus.
Camera and screensize (e.g. for photo editing) would get me over the hump that is the awful (imho) design...

Regardless, though - for a 5.5in screener it is awfully big.
So, in that regard it IS too big. :p
