Comedy is obviously very subjective; one man’s Jim Davidson is another man’s Jack Whitehall, but for my money, Conan O’Brien is one of the funniest dudes out there. Which, incidentally, gives me a chance to share this YouTube video (low quality, high hilarity).
Señor O’Brien has joined the myriad of people poking fun at the iPhone 6 Plus on account of its bending problems, and the results make for amusing viewing – regardless of how you feel about Apple or Samsung.
Conan’s team put together a spoof Samsung commercial likening the iPhone 6 Plus to – there’s no getting around this - an impotent male member, something that’s bound to cause embarrassment in front of the lay-dees.
The solution? Voiceover Man suggests talking to your carrier, and perhaps switching to a Samsung Galaxy, a phone that’s “rigid”, “stiff” and "firm".
Rather than ruin the whole bloomin’ thing, why don’t I just post a link to YouTube again, eh? Job done.
Incidentally, it’s worth reiterating that the whole #bendgate thing is largely the domain of the comedian. The number of people who’ve genuinely complained to Apple is roughly one per one million iPhone 6 units sold, though tests have certainly proven that the iPhone 6 Plus is easier to bend in the hand than some rival phones. But then why would you intentionally try to bend it?
