I mentioned yesterday that there’s no shortage of Android smartphone flagships on the horizon – that’s in addition to the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2.
Suckaz act like they forgot about the upcoming iPhone 6, but a spanking new rumour says it’ll look like the illegitimate spawn of the iPhone 5c (pictured) and iPod nano.
That’s the word according to Japanese-language blog Macotakara, which has been on the money with iPhone rumours in the past.
Ultimately they’re saying that the iPhone 6 design will borrow from both the iPhone 5c and iPod nano.
From the iPhone 5c we'll see the rounded corners on the back, while the iPod nano has supposedly inspired an anodised aluminium body in a range of colours.
Again, we’re told that the iPhone 6 will come in two different sizes, specifically 4.7in and 5.7in.
Initially we were thinking it’s quite early to be talking final design, but with the iPhone 6 release date recently tipped for July, it could be further along than we’re assuming.
The three most recent iPhone launch events (2011-2013) went down in autumn, but time was you’d meet the new guy at WWDC in summer, and Apple is repeatedly tipped to return to its old ways.
Interestingly, the sources add that the iPhone 6 will be launched as an extension of the existing range, so if gargantuan displays aren’t your thing, you can always pick up an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c.
