Time for your daily injection of iPhone 6 rumours, George. Should I jab you in the arm or leg?
From out of China, we’re getting a glimpse at what might well be the much-discussed iPhone 6, giving us a pretty deep insight into its design. Y’know, assuming the pics are legit.
These iPhone 6 pics – three in all – first appeared over on Weibo, essentially China’s answer to twitter.
What we’re seeing, reportedly, is the iPhone 6 displayed on a computer sitting in Foxconn, which has put together a fair few iPhones in its time – often under controversial circumstances.
But we don’t care about explosions and riots and suicides; what we want to see is the iPhone 6, and it’s depicted here with a super-thin design – so thin, in fact, that the rear camera lens protrudes, akin to the fifth-generation iPod touch.
The iPhone 6 also appears to be significantly curvaceous, though – to be fair – the iPhone 5, 5s and 5c were pretty curvy, too.
That’s about all we can garner for now, so I’ll reiterate the fact that iPhone 6 specs are expected to include a 4.7in and 5.5in display (yep, two new guys), super-tough sapphire crystal display, a handful of new sensors, and an 8MP rear camera.
As for the iPhone 6 release date, it's tipped for September this year - or thereabouts.
