Does the iPhone 6 really have a toughened screen or is it just Gorilla Glass (like most other phones)?

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus use so-called "ion strengthened" glass. It's explained over there => http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2758097/How-Apple-s-iPhone-6-ion-strengthened-screen-Expert-reveals-chemical-process-used-create-display.html
It's also explained over there => http://www.phonearena.com/news/New-iPhone-6-and-6-Plus-dont-have-sapphire-displays-are-they-Gorilla-Glass_id60498
Essentially it's the same process used by Corning, the makers of Gorilla Glass. Though: it's not confirmed if the glass on the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus is made by Corning afaik...
