How much does the iPhone usually go down in price/worth when a new model comes out?

How much does the iPhone usually go down in price/worth when a new model comes out?

Take the 16GB at £529. If I buy one now, could I expect to get £400 for it when the iPhone 5S comes out?

Hard to predict. Generally speaking, the 32GB and 64GB hold their prices best.
But a well kept 16GB iPhone can fetch a good price after 6 or 12 months, too.
It'll depend on many things: how much of an upgrade is the next one? What else is out from competitors? Will the Mayans have the last laugh?

Here in Ireland I see quite a few iPhone 5 phones on sale 2nd hand. I may be wrong but I think there are more than last year after christmas. Could be the economy or the SGS3 competition, or iBoredom... Anyway- you can get a €675 prepay iPhone 5 bought for Christmas and unopened for €500...

If they are only going for £413 now seems unlikely they'd get £400 when new one is out then?

How many iphone 5 did you you see last year after christmas then Jan? ;)
