Any issues with the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2?

Any there any known issues with the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2? I remember the first one had a problem with turning off randomly.

Just a while ago i was nagging about it in another thread, and someone corrected me. For some reason I thought the Ace 2 had some known issues, too; but apparently it's a decent phone. I checked a few reviews, and customer reviews etc Couldn't find a hair in the soup.

The ace 2 has none of the issues the original ace did. I'd recommend it

My dad has one, it seems like a very decent mid-range device. As has been said, it doesn't have any of the issues which plagued the original Ace.

I have just purchased ace 2 the buttons on the side on/off and adjust ringtone sound are too easy to knock as they are set proud of the casing very poor design. When using the phone screen blocked by ringtone sound adjust as button sited at the point you hold the phone. Phone turns off/on in my pocket again button is to easy to activate. My phone has been returned to its box for a very long rest. My regret is I didn't choose a different phone. Has anyone else had same problems? I for one will not buy another Samsung phone. The calendar on the phone is a poor design as has coloured background and very small dots showing appointments needs to be easier to read at a glance not something that needs to be studied when your short on time.

Some good points, but it is a budget device ( kind of) , and it goes to show: nothing beats try before you buy! I was lucky more than once that O2 Ireland have a 2 week no-quibble returns policy for payg phones ;)

Buy a case? It'd probably solve the unintentional button pressing issue, even if it doesn't, you'll only have spent about 99p.

Also, I'm pretty sure "I for one will not buy another Samsung phone" is a bit over the top on the basis you're making that statement on your experience of one, not particularly high-end, Samsung device. Samsung make phones which range from under £5 to over £500, there's a massive difference between the two ends of the spectrum. FWIW, the Ace 2 doesn't even make it half way up Samsung's phone pricing range, it's well under 200 quid these days.
