Does jailbreaking also unlock an iPhone?

If you jailbreak an iPhone, does that also unlock it so you can use any network SIM, or do you have to unlock it separately?

AFAIK, you can unlock iPhones with an app from Cydia, but they'll re-lock once you update and lose your jailbreak. So I guess the answer to your question is, no.

No, jailbreaking does not unlock iPhone. There is an additional procedure for unlocking.

Hi,
No, Jailbreaking is different from unlocking.Jailbreaking means you can use any software other than iTunes in your iPhone ,but Unlocking means you can use any Sim in your mobile.,but If you want to unlock you can with out Jailbreak your mobile using the site Theunlockspot.com.
