With all the talk of the Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5 and what have you, suckas act like they forgot about the HTC One X.
Well, there’s good news for HTC One X owners here, as word on the street is it’ll be upgraded from Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) in October.
The “street” in question is in fact MoDaCo, with the news being relayed by its founder, Mr. Paul O’Brien.
Paul reckons Jelly Bean will hit unlocked HTC One X units in October (not long to go now), with operator branded handsets following “before Christmas” – subject to operator approval, natch.
Meanwhile, the HTC One XL, Everything Everywhere’s first LTE phone, will ship with Jelly Bean out of the box.
No word on the HTC One S just yet, but we imagine it won’t be too far behind. Er, maybe.
