Kosher smartphone launched in Israel

Now here's a question for you: how kosher is your smartphone? Well, one Israeli telecoms company has been considering just that, Geeky Gadgets reports, and is offering its ultra-Orthodox Jewish clients a completely kosher smartpohone, complete with Hassidic folk music on board and a menu in Yiddish.

I love how this is all over the news, and it's almost impossible to find real specs... Suffice to say, it is an Alcatel. That's iOS and Android killed in Israel. Dead. Or, todgemacht as we say.

Fortunately most Israelis are tech savvy and don't want their phones or internet censored! In fact Israel is on of the world hotbeds for mobile development and claim that they invented the first mobile in their local motorola R&D labs.
The Ultra-Orthodox community are small and generally averse to any technology including newspapers, internet, tv and radio!
