Three launches unlimited European data roaming for £5 per day

Three launches unlimited European data roaming for £5 per dayWe’ve all been there; you’re in Spain or Germany or wherever, and you check out a couple of blue movies on your phone; the next month you get hit with a massive bill, and you wonder if it was all worth it.

But not any more! Three Mobile’s Euro Internet Pass offers unlimited data roaming for customers wandering through Europe, for a fairly reasonable fiver a day. Blue movies for all!

The Euro Internet Pass lasts until midnight UK time on the day of activation, however tethering isn’t included, so you’ll have to make do with your smartphone display.

There are a few notable exceptions, too, including Norway, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey. Bah. You can check out the eligible countries right here.

For standard EU roaming, or those countries not digging the Euro Internet Pass, data will set you back a meaty £1.28/MB. So using just 4MB with the Euro Internet Pass will save you money.

Three Mobile sends a text before the Euro Internet Pass runs out, offering the option to grab another one for the following day. You won’t be charged for roaming until you either buy another pass, or specifically agree to EU roaming charges.

You can read more about the Euro Internet Pass at Three Support.

Still a monumental rip off, but a step in the right direction.

Ah i rememeber when 3 used to be nice and if you were roaming on their network overseas then you could use your bundled texts and mins (not data, but you couldnt have everything) those were good times

PER DAY!!!! Per month and you have yourself a good deal. But when I go on hols I just want to good a few restaurants and use my normal apps and navogation. I probably only need between 1 and 50mb per day. So how about £5 per month unlimited minus videos, streaming and large downloads.
