"Leaked" early Nokia Lumia 900 Review - Disappointing Camera...

I don't know why it's "leaked"...but anyways, ChipChick
published an early Nokia Lumia 900 review.
She doesn't rate the camera too highly. But then, oddly enough, she praises the "unique design". Considering that the Nokia Lumia 900 is essentially a largified N9/Lumia 800 in terms of design, "unique" is not a word that came to my mind.

Anyhow... somebody slapped her into removing the review, but thanks to Google's cache you can read it in full here

Just because most Americans think that the world ends at their borders, doesn't make it true ;).

true. but if your reviewing phones for the american market saying a phone is unique to that market is normal... in fact she even mentioned how it was similar to the 800 ;)

It's not "similar" - it's identical without a ruler;

So by definition not unique, yes?

It's not. It has a front facing camera and a non-pentile display.

Yes, but most average consumers wouldn't know the ff camera from a proximity sensor...
I think 'superficially' identical...

Yes. I am. It happens after smartphone number 50 or so...
don't ever take it personally. What floats anyone's boat - I'd never say someone's stupid for preferring an OS, or make or band or drink ;)

and to that reply and authorisation of post, i apologise
it was a combination of your last unbiased observation and your previously copy pasted post which bought me to respond, which upon reflection only made me seem dickish.
sorry.

On that note, I received my white Lumia 900 today and I'm infatuated with it. It certainly is a thing of beauty. Call quality is excellent, screen is incredibly good, speed is more than sufficient and the front facing camera is certainly a welcome addition for Skype. When Microsoft eventually allow background VoIP, such that Skype calls can be received when the app is not running, the phone will be unbeatable.

Careful with the screen - I believe it's the same glass as on my N9, and it's not as scratch-proof as one would like.
What's the cam like?
You could post a little 'review' in a couple of days ;)
