It takes a lot to stand out in the world of smartphones, but Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has done a fairly decent job with its A660 smartphone.
See, according to reports from Lenovo’s homeland, the A660 is waterproof, and boasts dual SIM goodness.
Yep, the Lenovo A660 is a fairly rugged little chap, laughing off water and dust (it’s IP67 certified), and adopting Gorilla glass for its 4in WVGA display.
Other Lenovo A660 specs are said to include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1500mAh battery, and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
No word on pricing or availability for the Lenovo A660 just yet, but we imagine it won’t wander too far from home.
Just the other day, we were hearing that Lenovo is doing rather well over in China. Sure, its mobile division technically isn’t profitable at the moment, but it’s second only to Samsung. Not bad, guys.
Notable Lenovo efforts include the LePhone K800, which laid claim to “world’s first Intel smartphone”. Er, not that there was much competition.
