Lenovo S920 pops up on official site, quad-core, Jelly Bean Android 4.2

Lenovo S920 pops up on official site, quad-core, Jelly Bean Android 4.2The Lenovo S920 was one of two new Leno-phones leaked a couple of weeks ago, the other being the Lenovo S820.

The latter remains mysterious at this stage, but the former, the Lenovo S920, has popped up on the manufacturer’s official Chinese webstore.

Looking at the aforementioned leak, it looks like they got Lenovo S920 specs right on the money. Well, the few that they cared to share, anyway.

Specifically, we have a 5.3in display (1280 x 720), quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, 2,250mAh battery, and Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) – all wrapped up in a 7.9mm case.

Those specs put the Lenovo S920 roughly at the same level as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the latter of course having a larger 5.5in display and 2GB of RAM.

The Lenovo S920 is also tipped to come in dual-SIM guise, which is pretty much par for the Chinese smartphone course.

And that’s all we know about the Lenovo S920 for now. It’s expected to arrive in China early next month, but no word on a global release (or lack thereof) just yet.

Minus everything that makes the Note "special" - i.e. the S-Pen, hover touch, dual-windows etc
Anyhoo...

A Galaxy Note/HTC One X crossover for £80.

Not bad.

Don't forget half the RAM, a slower processor and a much, much smaller battery.

If that isn't bad, how about this "iPhone" 5S => http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-iPhone-5S-Launches-Earlier-than-Expected-as-a-Chinese-Knockoff-340120.shtml
Watch the video. It's not bad, actually

Yeh it's good. But because it's an iPhone 5 knock off it's an inflated price and the specs are worse

The Lenovo has a better screen, double the ram, quad core processor, bigger screen etc... and is still cheaper :P

Plus the fact that you can buy a 3G phone with the same specs as the Xperia Z in China for £150 is mind blowing.

And it's made by Lenovo, not whoever the hell makes that iPhone knock-off.
