The most interesting thing we’ve seen from Chinese manufacturer Lenovo of late is the Intel-fuelled K900. It popped up at CES in January, and claims to be the world’s thinnest 1080p 5.5in smartphone. Or something.
We’re hearing word of two more Lenovo Android handsets, namely the S920 (left) and S820 (right). Presumably ‘S’ and ‘K’ mean something to Lenovo. At least internally. Hmm. Anyway! Let’s talk specs, daddy-o.
The Lenovo S920, firstly, boasts a 5.3in display, quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, dual-SIM compatibility, and a 2,250mAh battery. It’ll rock Jelly Bean Android 4.2 when it launches.
There’s also the Lenovo S820, though it remains fairly mysterious at this stage. The only confirmed spec is a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor (like its big broski). Presumably the lower number (in relation to the S920) indicates a smaller display.
Chinese language site MyDrivers describes the S820 as “a fashion for female users”, though it’s not entirely clear what makes it girlie. The colour, perhaps.
And there you have it. Two more Chinese smartphones that there’s little to no chance of seeing in the UK. Still, it’s nice to know what we’re missing out on.
