Lenovo is a funny one, a Top 5 global smartphone player with little-to-no presence in the UK. Well, not as far as mobiles go, anyway; Lenovo laptops are a dime a dozen.
Here we’re seeing something called the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro (cool name, bro), a possible thorn in the side of the imminent LG G3, and while the chances of it making an appearance in the UK are next to zero, I'm sure as hell going to write about it anyway.
QHD displays are all the rage at the moment, with the Vivo Xplay 3S and Oppo Find 7 getting the ball rolling, and the LG G3 joining the party officially later tonight.
According to Chinese sources (myDrivers, originally; translated and relayed by GizChina), Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro specs will include – again – a QHD display, measuring a whopping 6in. That’s the same size and resolution as the Vivo Xplay 3S, incidentally, the largest QHD phone to date.
Further Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro specs supposedly include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, NFC (Near Field Communication) and a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is said to be just 7.7mm thick, but manages to cram in – we’re told – a gargantuan 4,000mAh battery. Nice work.
