Since then we’ve been introduced to the L-Series II, but one thing we weren’t anticipating was a brand new family member in the form of the LG Optimus L1 II.
That name is slightly annoying, since – as far as I can tell – there was never an LG Optimus L1.
Anyway! With the higher number generally denoting better specs, the LG Optimus L1 II is very much the runt of the litter – or “entry-level” if I’m being politically correct.
LG Optimus L1 II specs include a 3in display (320 x 240), 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A processor, 2MP rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage (augmentable via microSD), a 1,540mAh battery, and Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2).
Fancy it? You’ll be able to pick up the LG Optimus L1 II in black or white, and it’ll make its debut in Vietnam for 19,90,000 Vietnamese Dongs (roughly £60), with other “select countries” getting in on the action at a later date, including Russia and – wait for it – the United Kingdom of David Cameron.
On a final note, the LG Optimus L1 II is a bit of a chubster at 12.2mm thick, which is more than twice the thickness of the BBX Vivo X3.
