LG G Flex's 'Self Healing' rear

Has anyone seen the LG G Flex's 'Self Healing' rear in action? How can it heal itself? :p

I can't guarantee that this is the actual solution LG is using in the G Flex because 'self- healing' is a going to be a big trend in the coming years and there are many ways to do it.

The most likely way it works though is that the coating on the back of the devices essentially has 3 layers.

Top layer is a hydrophobic layer.
Middle is composed of polymer 'stalks'
Bottom layer is a large reservoir of the coatings active ingredient

When the phone's back is scratched, it's actually just the top layer of coating that is scratched. More of the Hydrophobic agent 'climbs' the 'stalks' to fill the gap.
