The LG G2 is pretty much the worst-kept secret in the mobile industry at the moment, with the South Koreans even going as far as confirming the name a couple of weeks ago. They’re like a kid at Christmas when it comes to product launches.
The phone is set to make its formal debut in New York later today, and in the meantime we’re getting a proper no-holds-barred press shot glimpse of the LG G2.
And if there was any doubt about their authenticity, LG has used one of the images in this YouTube video: LG Brand Story. Skip to 2:09 and you’ll see the LG G2 in all its glory. Again.
The accompanying blurb (I’ll save you squinting) says: “A smart innovation even on the back. The intuitive rear key – placed where your index finger naturally sits on the phone, it provides the best comfortable and stable one hand grip with easy volume up and down and self photo!”
As for LG G2 specs, they were recently confirmed in a leaked user manual, including a 5.2in display (1920 x 1080), quad-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front shooter, and a removable 2,160mAh battery.
We’ll be sure to formalise the LG G2 with words when it launches later today (around 5PM GMT).
