Good news for those waiting patiently for the LG G3: LG says you'll be able to start picking one up in the UK from Thursday, 26 June.
That's ahead of a wider global rollout that officially commences on Friday, and a few days up on the previous 1 July marker we were given when the G3 was announced last month. Good news all round.
The G3's big calling card is that it's the first of the big-name smartphone flagships to leave behind full HD and come with a Quad HD resolution display – that's 2560 x 1440 pixels across 5.5in for a pixel density of 538ppi.
Less good is that the UK version won't have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage, but rather just 2GB/16GB, but that's still loads to be getting on with.
Plus there's OIS on the 13MP camera, wireless charging, a super-skinny bezel, Smart Notice, Knock Code and lots of other bells, whistles and kitchen sink-like extras.
LG's own promise of a 26 June availability seems to have caught a couple of their partners on the hop, though.
As of writing, Three, Carphone Warehouse and O2 – who are all linked to directly by LG as places to order the G3 online – hadn't updated their pre-order pages for the LG flagship to say you'll be able to get one this week.
But hopefully that'll change over the course of the day, and if you're planning on taking the plunge, Thursday will be the day you're looking at.
