LG G4 specs: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 16MP rear camera? The LG G2 (launched August 2013) was quickly followed up by the LG G3 (May 2014), so logically we’re expecting the LG G4 in a matter of months.

The phone has done a pretty good job of staying under the radar, and as such not a great deal is known in terms of LG G4 specs, but a fresh rumour points to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and a 16MP rear camera.

The choice of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor doesn’t come as much of a surprise, the LG G2 and LG G3 having been powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and Snapdragon 801 respectively.

Having said that, there are concerns that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is suffering from overheating problems, and Samsung is supposedly falling back on its own Exynos processors for the Galaxy S6.

Alas, LG doesn’t have the same luxury with its 8-core NUCLUN processors, which reportedly, well, suck. So Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 it is.

Elsewhere, an Android Lollipop 5.0 dump suggests LG G4 specs will include a 16MP rear camera, a step up from the 13MP rear shooter on the current LG G3.

It’s not clear when the LG G4 launch will go down, but a good bet might be Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in early March.
