LG has been doing plenty of Mobile World Congress-related teasing over the past few weeks, with one recent promo thingy promising Style, Greatness, View and Freedom.
Thanks to a series of press releases, we knew exactly what to expect, and now LG has given six new phones their public unveiling – alongside two existing chaps.
In no particular order, we have the L-Style Series II, encompassing the L3 II, L5 II and L7 II. These are the most modest of the six/eight, and are 3G only.
Upping the specs, we have the LTE-rockin' Freedom crew, comprised of the LG Optimus F5 and Optimus F7. They sound pretty good on paper, but the usual concerns over LG software updates apply.
Next we have the Greatness, the LG Optimus G Pro, which has had one, two, three launch events over the past couple of months. Again, it sounds impressive, but the LG Optimus G Pro II is supposedly just around the corner.
I actually quite like what LG has done with the four categories. Everything’s nice and clear. Er, mostly. Not that I could tell you many/any of the specs off the top of my head, but it makes sense to me. Style, Greatness, View and Freedom. Easy.
