LG MWC teasing continues with promise of Style, Greatness, View and Freedom

LG MWC teasing continues with promise of Style, Greatness, View and FreedomI’ve already previewed LG’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) arsenal, but it seems – hands up – that I might’ve jumped the gun a wee bit.

We assumed that the ‘4’ in a recent teaser meant four individual devices, but it looks like it might in fact encompass four unique categories.

That’s the implication courtesy of a new YouTube video from LGMobileHQ, titled “MWC 2013: Closer to Barcelona!”

The four categories are Style (emphasis on the ‘L’ i.e. L-Series), Freedom (no idea what that’s about), View (maybe a new LG Optimus Vu phablet?), and – finally – Greatness.

With the emphasis on ‘G’, Greatness almost certainly represents the LG Optimus G Pro, which has had not one, nor two, but three launches this year already.

Of course, the L-Series II has already been detailed, too, so that just leaves question marks over the Freedom and View categories. We’ll find out the dealio when MWC 2013 gets underway on Monday.

Amusingly, LG’s release has been met with the usual barrage of complaints, including “LG sucks”, “liars”, and “LG_ WHEN IS JELLY BEAN COMING TO LG OPTIMUS 4X HD P880 !!?? I WANT AN ANSWER”. Great stuff.

Stand apart from others? What a slogan for a class of products that - we've been told - connects us all?
What happened to "we are the world"? "Ebony and ivory"? Now we stand apart?
Tag refers to NFC, right?
