How does the LG Optimus 3D screen work?

Is it like the Nintendo 3DS where it has depth, or does stuff look like it’s coming out of the screen?

A parallax barrier!
That sounds like some enemy in Star Trek, but it's a slim layer on top of the screen which has tiny slits, sending light in separate paths, to your eyes.
Both devices use the same method.

I have no idea... But I might look into it - though from all I read about it, I don't think it's for me ;)
