For furg’s sake, at this rate we might as well tear up our tickets for Barcelona, as yet another handset has been detailed ahead of Mobile World Congress.
The LG Optimus 4X HD is the phone we’ve been referring to as the LG Optimus 3X for the past few weeks, and is a successor of sorts to the LG Optimus 2X – the world’s first dual-core smartphone.
In terms of specs, the rumour mill was pretty much spot on. The LG Optimus 4X HD has a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 4.7in ‘True HD IPS’ display and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Other LG Optimus 4X HD specs include 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 2,150mAh battery, an 8MP/1.3MP camera combo and a thickness of just 8.9mm.
Presumably the LG Optimus 4X HD will be available for all to fondle at Mobile World Congress next week.
