LG Optimus Me coming March 25

LG Optimus Me coming March 25If you’re an LG fan but can’t quite stretch to the LG Optimus 3D or awesome-looking LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Me might be more in your price range. It launches on March 25 in the UK, priced around £120 SIM-free.

The LG Optimus Me has a 2.8in screen, 3MP camera, support for up to 32GB storage, and will run Android 2.2 (Froyo). It’ll be LG’s cheapest Android phone.

It launches on the same day as the iPad 2, though we don’t imagine Apple will be too worried about the LG Optimus Me stealing the spotlight.

And not to end on a downer, but the similarly-priced HTC Wildfire runs Froyo too, with a 3.2in screen and 5MP camera. Also, the HTC Wildfire S is out shortly with a higher screen resolution.

Sorry, LG Optimus Me. I'm sure you'll do just fine.
