Believe it or not, we’ve been yakking about the LG Optimus G2 for almost six months now, with the first whispers of the Optimus G Pro successor appearing last November.
No one’s quite sure when it’ll launch (wild theories suggested CES last January, ahem), but in the meantime we’re getting a look at what might well be the first shot of the LG Optimus G2. Maybe.
The purported LG Optimus G2 shot is brought to you by Evleaks on Facebook. Accompanying the shot are the words: “G2? Just a guess...”
There’s not a whole lot we can garner from the shot, and indeed it might even be some sort of half-assed blue-screened fake.
In any case, the LG Optimus G2 will have its work cut out for it when it touches down later this year, as its predecessor, the LG Optimus G Pro, is no slouch, with a 5.5in 1080p display, quad-core processor and 13MP rear camera.
Rumoured LG Optimus G2 specs include – again – a 5.5in 1080p display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
While LG has been neglecting us of late (took ages to get the Optimus G out; no sign of the Optimus G Pro), we’re told the LG Optimus G2 will land in the UK in Q3. That’d be nice.
