LG Optimus L5 hitting the UK this month

LG Optimus L5 hitting the UK this monthLG had no less than six Android devices on display at Mobile World Congress this year, including a trio of "L-Style" phones.

We already have the LG Optimus L3 and L7 here in the United Kingdoms, and now Lucky Goldstar says the LG Optimus L5 is imminent.

As the names probably suggest, the LG Optimus L3 is the most modest, while the LG Optimus L7 boasts the most impressive specs. That puts the final addition – the LG Optimus L5 – somewhere in the middle.

LG Optimus L5 specs? We’ve got a 4in display, Cortex A5 processor clocked at 800MHz, and 5MP rear camera with LED flash.

Other LG Optimus L5 specs include 4GB internal storage (augmentable via microSD up to 32GB), Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and a 1,500mAh battery.

"The LG Optimus L5 is a very balanced smartphone that offers a great combination of design, display, performance, battery life and price that many will find very attractive," screams Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

"This device, along with other products in our L-Series portfolio, will especially appeal to fashion forward users everywhere." If that doesn’t make you want to buy one, I don’t know what will.

Expansys estimates the LG Optimus L5 SIM free price at £199.99.

Where are your Asian 'babes' when we need them? :p

That aside, I'm with speedyG on this one. Can't MicroSoft buy LG?
