LG Optimus L5 II hits Brazil, coming soon elsewhereGood news if you’re eagerly anticipating the arrival of the LG Optimus L5 II. Heck, someone out there must fit the profile; the original L-Series shifted over 10 million units.

Where was I? Ah yes! The LG Optimus L5 II is set to debut in Brazil. Samba de Amigo! Or something.

The LG Optimus L5 II was one of six new(ish) handsets unveiled by LG at this year’s Mobile World Congress, and makes up one third of the spanking new L-Series II.

With its little bro being the LG Optimus L3 II, and big brother LG Optimus L7 II, the LG Optimus L5 II sits in the middle of the spec spectrum.

LG Optimus L5 II specs include a 4in display (480 x 800), 1GHz MTK 6575 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage (with microSD), a 5MP rear camera, and Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).

The LG Optimus L5 II arrives in Brazil with dual-SIM capabilities, and single and dual-SIM models will follow in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa.

"We believe that the Optimus L5 II will prove to be irresistible to people looking for a feature-rich smartphone that complements their unique and individual styles,” purrs smooth talker Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile.
