It's the news we just know you've been waiting for: LG's fashion-conscious Prada 3.0 is strutting its stuff on the high street as of today.
Phones4U is where you'll need to go to get your hands on one, with the mobile retailer having secured a limited exclusivity deal for the Android fashion phone.
We're not quite sure what to make of the LG Prada 3.0 – or to be more precise the Prada phone by LG 3.0 (a name we'll use once and once only). It's actually a pretty decent smartphone, while the cosmetic stylings that give it its “Prada-ness” are more understated than they could be.
There's the unmissable Prada badge front and back, Saffiano faux leather back and a customised version of Android Gingerbread complete with stylised icons and bespoke wallpapers. The overall look is fairly elegant, though, and the spec backs it up nicely.
You get a 4.3in LG Nova display with an 800-nits brightness rating, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, 1GB of memory and 8GB of on-board storage, all in a chassis with a suitably slender 8.5mm profile.
The LG Prada 3.0 comes free on contracts starting at £31 per month, while Phones4U is giving you 12 months of free Wi-Fi via The Cloud if you sign up before the end of February.
