Does anyone know how to do spellings on this so they save and i dont have to keep typing the same word out using single letters iyswim thank you

How about one of the many 3rd party keyboards? https://play.google.com/store/search?q=keyboards&c=apps
Anyhow, in settings unter 'input'/'text entry' there should be user dictionary, auto correct etc etc....
Sorry, I have no Android device on me, and I never ever use auto correct.
