Is LG's Android software support getting any better?

I like the look of the LG G2's LG ;)
Is their Android software support any better in the post-Nexus 4 world?

In all seriousness it's ok. Not amazing.
So for example they'll make sure you're at least on the latest named version.

For example the 4x was updated to Jellybean 4.1. But i doubt it'll ever make it to the new 4.3 or next named release now.

Same with the G2. I expect it to be updated to the next major android version. And then that's that.

Okay, I haven't used an Android device as my main phone in quite a while, BUT: I do usually have an Android phone at hand. I find more often than not apps aren't ready for the latest Android flavour. I can only think of a couple of apps that required the latest version of Android. And every update sees to come with new real or potential security exploits.
Android's permanently in Beta :p (like most Google products), so I prefer a relatively "fixed" older version than whatever cake's the latest.

Hey, German authorities just advised local governments and state agencies to not use Windows 8 until at least 2020 (no kidding!) - because of security concerns and a known, un-closeable NSA backdoor! Here's to XP - the devil you know!
