Is LG more reliable now in terms of Android software updates?
I recall a lot of negativity around the time of the Optimus 2X, but that was a while back!

In fairness - I bet you can name any handset ever made, and somebody has a horror story about updates.
I actually never heard any stories that indicated LG were outstandingly bad. But then: since the 1st Viewty, LG have basically not sold any devices here in Ireland.
In other words: I haven't got the foggiest

LG G2 wasn't too far behind HTC One or Note 3 in getting Kit Kat but the quality of the update was terrible. They made the camera better, noticeably better but it was quite horrible to use from launch to KitKat.
The update also broke the use of high quality headphones, when I contacted them about it, their response was along the lines of "oh, yeah we've heard about it but don't know when it's going to be fixed, maybe next month" and no official way to fall back to Jelly Bean.
In the end I installed a custom firmware to fix the problem and it did take them 5 weeks to push an update to fix the audio problem.
The hardware they can make is beautiful but software, is not their strong suit.
