Kind of a two-for-one sale here. I guess you might say we’re killing two LG-themed newsiesies with one stone. Or something.
LG’s 5.5in QHD display has just received its NEMKO certification, and it’s also popped up officially on the Japan-only LG Isai FL, all of which points to - you guessed it - the imminent and much-discussed LG G3.
On the certification side of things, NEMKO’s approval appears to indicate that the 5.5in QHD panel is indeed, er, QHD, and hence ready for mass production. It’s already been confirmed for the LG G3, which launches on May 27 this month.
Giving us a further idea of LG G3 specs, we have Japan’s spanking new LG Isai FL. Last year, the LG Isai essentially became the LG G2 for the western world, and it'll likely be a similar story this year.
LG Isai FL specs include the aforementioned 5.5in QHD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, 1.3MP front shooter, 3,000mAh battery, and KitKat Android 4.4.2.
LG G3 specs are still seemingly up in the air, however, with some suggesting that the smartphone will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor (which would make it one of the first phones to do so), and as much as 3GB of RAM.
In the meantime, let’s take a moment to digest that pink LG Isai FL. Incredible stuff.
