List of smartphone operating systems

I'm compiling a list of current smartphone operating systems. Have I forgotten any? So far I've got:

Android
iOS
Windows Phone
Symbian
BlackBerry OS/BlackBerry 10
Bada
MeeGo

Current?

BREW is API, not OS.

Windows Mobile cannot be really considered current anymore.

(Nor symbian kind of)

Well the best cameraphone on the market runs symbian so it's not quite dead..

Yeh it's not dead. Maybe just not current because as far as i'm aware nokia won't be releasing any more symbian phones in the uk.

Whilst that's a current phone it's a current os.

It's not one with a future without some dramatic changes I'll agree

Since Samsung cancelled Bada (sniff), is it still current? If so, then WinMo is current, too, considering that the HTC HD2 is still selling all over the world... Also, there are still rugged WinMo phones on sale. New! So, definitely Windows Mobile!
Also: MeeGo is as dead or as alive as webOS - so: add webOS

Also: strictly speaking, the Nokia N9 doesn't really run MeeGo. It runs Maemo - with a pinch of Harmattan "MeeGo" . So, add Maemo.

"Current" is kind of an awkward modifier! There are hundreds of millions of Symbian phones in use, and possibly more Maemo devices than Bada... Also, in industrial settings there are lohoads of WinMo devices in use... Also: there are emulators for various OSs to run Palm OS...

:p regrets?

My bad, I was thinking of the HTC Smart, I always thought Brew was an OS.

The HTC HD2 still sells and that's a WinMo phone. Also, the Nokia 808 runs Symbian, doesn't it?

Current:
Android
iOS
Windows Phone 7
BBOS
Symbian Belle
S40
Bada (likely merging with Tizen, though not officially confirmed)

Future:
Windows Phone 8 (ground-up rebuild, new kernel, new apps, basically a new OS)
Blackberry 10
Open WebOS
Tizen
Boot2Gecko
Meego (through Jolla)

Past:
WebOS
Maemo
Moblin
Windows Mobile
Various builds of Symbian
QNX
PalmOS

Think that's fairly comprehensive (apart from the 'Past' bit, but I couldn't be bothered to be too thorough).

Good list, satchef.
But S40 is not Symbian, and it's not a smartphone OS ;) Better apps are coming to is, but it's still wrong for this list.
