How do I listen to music off the memory card on my Nokia 5230?

There’s definitely music on my memory card, but the Nokia 5230 can’t seem to see it. Is there anything I can try?

In the musicplayer library press menu - refresh library.
Does the photo gallery find photos that are on the memory card? You may have to format the card if nothing works. Back it up to the PC, then delete everything. Then put it back into the phone. In 'memory' you should then see an option to format the card. After that transfer content back from the PC to the memory card.
And by the way, if your songs are DRM protected, the musicplayer probably won't play them. (though they should still appear in the library)

Most of my music is on my 5230's external memory card - not sure why it isn't working on yours. Are you using just vanilla MP3s or some more exotic format?
