How long before you can claim insurance?

Do you have to wait before being able to claim insurance? Whats to stop you losing your phone _then_ getting insurance and claiming right away? Obviously its insurance fraud but...!

All policies are different. Protectyourbubble.com won't accept claims in the first 14 days, or if the equipment has not been used in the duration of the policy,,,etc

The systems telecommunications use, can tell them a huge amount about when and where a phone has been used and different SIM cards used and when, they know. Most insurance cover for unauthorised use..... So if you don't claim straight away once it is lost and someone uses £1000's on calls, touch luck.
