How long does it take your phone to boot up?

It takes a good 2-3 minutes for my HTC Desire to load all the apps and widgets and to settle down. Is that normal? It's running stock firmware and Froyo - Android 2.2.

Sounds a bit longer than usual. If you've got things installed on an SD card, those will take a little longer to load at startup. Have you tried the Gingerbread update? On my Desire it made boot times go from 40 seconds to 8 seconds (and I am not exaggerating).

EDIT: Sorry about the double. Phone disconnected while posting.

Lartiste,
It depends a bit on what you mean by " load all apps and widgets and settle down"?! How many widgets? Are they live - ie do they load online stuff? And do you mean by "settle down" they finished updating? If that is the case, it also depends on your connection speed.

Lastly, has it always taken that long, and now you have realised other Desires boot up faster. Or has it slowed down over time?
Blizzard is right - you could see what an update to Gingerbread does. Or you could just backup your apps and settings and do a factory reset. Or you could jailbreak it and use an app that let's you freeze certain apps so they don't all load at the same time.
I could tell you how long my SGS2 or my Desire HD used to take, but I'm not a widget fan, and I usually end up with 1 homescreen with just the shortcuts to apps that I really use...
