Manage your Android phone with SnapPea (Beta)

If you're robotically inclined, there is a new desktop manager for Android devices.
SnapPea is free, and although it is still in its 'beta' stage, it has a lot to offer.
Can it be worse than Kies? No. It can't.
So give it a try. More info and download at SoftPedia

MyPhoneExplorer is good as well. I've been using it for years with my Sony Ericsson phones and then about a year or so with Android, works well.

Thanks. Does that only work via BT/WiFi, or USB-cable, also?

Poking your eyes out with a pencil is less painful than an afternoon with KIES. I'll give this a try when I've got time to set it up etc.

Must be missing something, what's the point of it?

USB cable and wifi (maybe BT as well, but I've never tried that).
Another thing MPE has is as well as saving in the software, you can backup a whole phone (except user files) into one single archive and restore (can selectively restore what you want) it from any copy of my phone explorer on any PC, works cross phone/platform as well. So I can back up my old 'dumb' sony ericsson phone and restore the backup onto an android phone.

We here at SnapPea hope that an afternoon with our app is less painful than poking your eyes out with a pencil.

Hi ![]()
You'd think that's not too hard, but Samsung obviously disagree ![]()
