How do I get McDonalds/The Cloud wi-fi to work on iPhone 4?

I'm on Vodafone. It always asks me if I want to join and opens up 'The Cloud' page, but then asks me to select my network which only offers 02. If I try to open a new account it lets me enter details but keeps taking me back to the start again. My friend managed on his Xperia, but I keep failing. Am I missing something obvious?!

...okay, I have to admit, well, you lost me.
Can you not just enable wifi in settings, scan for available open networks and pick McDonalds hotspot? It's how I remember it...
Having said that, I NEVER go to mcDie's - do you need a WEP-code? And still...LOST! Anyone?

You can connect to any free wifi hotspot by going to settings and then wifi and select the hotspot you want to connect to.

Most hotspot will ask your details for security reasons once you have given you details you will have a login details.

BUT

Most wifi don't need any WEP or WPA Key they are open. just click on it and it will connect.

You can Determine which is open and which is secure by looking at a lock sign next to it.

Many thank s
