Can a micro-SIM be cut down to make a nano-SIM?
Is it possible to cut a micro-SIM down to nano-SIM size? (for the iPhone 5)

It's thinner not just smaller area so not easily and could be a good way to get a badly cut down possibly non functional sim card wedged into the slot.
Have seen guides to doing it but wouldn't recommend it at all.

It can only be done to SIMs with the newer, smaller gold contact area.

I can't imagine the problem lessens when you're adapting over two SIM card stages.

No I meant take the nano back to micro and mini size/fit using adaptors. So if you got a nano sim it would be possible to use all three.
I'm guessing they don't use two adaptors together to get all the way back to mini but rather one for each but unsure. Not even been near a phone shop in days.
