How much are you looking to spend? All of the above are low end.

Ctpahhik, depends where you shop: Vodafone Ireland sold the 1st Desire for €419 until VERY recently. The Ace is 40% cheaper... Anyhoo... Of the 3 phones get the old Desire.

Samsung Galaxy Ace was always £129 from Three. It's locked, but only £10 to unlock.

It's irrelevant how much things are in Ireland. I order things from Germany, when they are cheaper there. I don't think anything is stopping you from ordering phone from UK, or is there?

This is the point of Mobot. We won't be recommending something from local Vodafone store when there are better options, nor we recommend shopping in US as it cannot be shipped to EU.

All arguments aside, the HTC Desire is the best phone there, for both its build quality and power.

You and me....in harmony do not represent the average consumer. So, it is relevant. Especially since I started the paragraph with "it depends where you shop"! ;)
