Does Three Mobile just use 3G or does it have 2G too?

Does Three Mobile just use 3G or does it have a 2G network too? Sometimes I go 2G to save on battery.

For calls? Yes. For data? Nope.

No, Three mobile doesn't have 2G.

Three is 3G network but it does have 2G backup provided by Orange in certain areas.

Bear in mind though that this 2G backup is in certain areas only and can only be used for calls/texts.

But this isn't much of a problem as Three's 3G coverage is more than adequate today.

Ah, here in Ireland you can turn off 3G - they share infrastructure with Vodafone... But no 2G/EDGE data...
