Which mobile network has the best coverage in Manchester?

I’m moving to Manchester and need to get a new phone. What’s the best network for coverage there: O2, Orange, T-Mobile, 3, Vodafone?

Will try those. Let me know if anyone has experience in Manchester.

Always found Vodafone to be the best provider, Three are also good. Good luck!

I think since Orange and Tmobile set up their sharing arrangement they have the best in a lot of areas... But what works for one person in one place wont someone else, so yeah - i think asking around Manchester is your best bet. Good luck

If you're on Orange/T-Mobile, you can only access the other one's 2G services. Just a point to remember.

Don't trust the maps. I recently purchased a new contract at work for 70 connections based on the coverage maps. Have had to cancel the contract for 16 of them and transfer them from O2 to Vodafone as O2 coverage was awful despite their coverage maps claiming to be better. This wasn't in Manchester, but just saying so you don't take coverage maps as gospel!

Vodafone seems to have best coverage around UK in general. Don't know about Manchester specifically.

I can vouch that O2 is not very good. Now that everyone has GiffGaff it's easy to spot people trying to catch a signal in basements and rural areas.
