Are mobile networks ripping us off by charging extra for tethering?
Surely at the end of the day :- data's data and you're already paying for it?

I don't think there's any way for them to charge you extra if you're using Android.

I kind of understand it on unlimited data plans, they don't want people using their mobile connection as a broadband replacement and burning through hundreds of GB per month, but when you have an allowance of XMB per month, I don't see why you can't use up those MBs tethering, if that's what you want to do.

I never got charged for tethering. Wireless hotspot works on every SIM card I tried so far.
