Mobot Login Issues - Chrome for Android Data Compression

If I use Chrome for Android's built in data compression tool on my Note 2, Mobot won't let me login. Clearly, as I'm posting this, I can log in from my PC and you'll have to trust me when I say I can also login from Chrome for Android when data compression is turned off.

With Chrome's data compression turned on I can login to other sites, including Mobot's sister site, HUKD. I was just wondering if anyone else fancied trying this out to see if it's just my account.

I don't want to stop using data compression as it works really well, both speeding up my mobile browsing and reducing the amount of data I use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I sent a link to this to Emma who, I'm sure, will pass it on to the devs.
I don't use Chrome, but the Maemo browser on the N9 won't let me log in, either - nor will various flavours of Opera Mobile.

Thanks guys, passed on to the dev team.

Cheers, guys :).

One thing I forgot to mention is that I use the Beta version of Chrome for Android, data compression isn't available on the final release version. Still, I have no idea why it's only Mobot which won't let me login...even my bank doesn't have a problem with it haha!

Banks let you log in with anything

As soon as I clicked "submit", I got the feeling that would trigger a bank comment :p.

I was talking purely from a security of the website point of view, tbh. I'm sure Halifax have more security in place than Mobot...or I hope they do, anyway!
