How can I monitor data on my Blackberry Curve 3G?

allan is right imho.
Those apps are a decent enough tool for casual checks. But where a KB can put you over the limit and into big-bill territory?
Your network will probably let you check on your allowance via a USSD code to dial, or via customer care. Best is to check and find out what your net-routine is, and then once a day or so check with your network what your balance is.

And lets be real, appsfans: your network won't give the slightes damn about your data-watch app should there ever be a dispute about your usage. Nor will the apps developers 'have your back' should the networks say x while that cool app says y ;)
Again, we are talking about a scenario where a few Bytes can mean big money. Rely on youselves, not on some app. Check with your network, and pay attention to your own routine.

Yes, allan1954,
I heard about problems with textalerts. Annoying!
But here in Ireland the networks all have a number you can dial on your phone to check how much you used/have left. And/or you can check your internet balance online.
I think once people get used to using the web, and have developed a 'regime'/routine of keeping track of their usage, they will 'instinctively' stay within their limits.

Three has an app that connects to your account and gives you break down of your usage. I wish all networks would have something similar.

tmobile payg £20 offer 6 months deal no where to find out what you have left. i know other networks you can find out but not this deal.

@CTPAHHIK: Orange do the same (at least for my android)
Also I have to say that 3g watchdog has never once disagreed with Orange :)
