The second-generation Motorola Moto X is already on sale in the US, but in the UK we be sitting like: “Where the Moto X at, foo’?” Or words to that effect.
The official UK Motorola Moto X (2014) release date remains elusive for now, but a handful of SIM free units have started popping up here and there.
Scouting around the cyber-web, we’ll start with unlockedmobiles.com, where you can grab the 16GB Black Resin Motorola Moto G (2014) for £394.98 with free delivery.
Surfing over to Clove, the same phone will set you back £408 (available now), with the Black Leather and Bamboo variants following on October 3 and October 13 respectively, both priced £429.60.
As for Amazon, it’s offering the Black Resin Moto X (16GB, presumably) for £419.99 – obviously more expensive than both options mentioned above, and with an ETA of October 7. Hmm.
To be honest, we’d much rather wait till the official release, which means you can fully customise your second-generation Motorola Moto X with Moto Maker instead of accepting these pre-made thingies: back (cool, warm, leather, wood), front (black/white), trim (various colours) and storage (16/32GB).
Incidentally, if anyone fancies buying me a second-gen Motorola Moto X with white front, ebony rear and metallic orange trim, well, that'd be splendid.
