Moto G storage issue

I really like the Moto G - apart from the lack of microSD slot.
I have a large music library and wonder if there's some way to store it virtually so I could stream it? I don't want to have to change the music manually on the phone all of the time.

Google Music allows you to upload up to 20,000 songs and stream them to your device for free. It sounds pretty much perfect for what you want.

It's a good service if you don't mind streaming your music. Also, I doubt you'd be able to fit 20,000 songs onto even a 64GB MicroSD card, so that's a positive too.

You definitely can't get that many on in any quality onto 64gb. Think you can buy more space if you need even more than the 20k songs

And yep like Matt said Google Music, it doesn't even actually upload all your music like the weeks I spent doing it at the beginning anymore, only the stuff it doesn't already know the rest it just takes from it's database so much much faster.

If you've bought a lot of it from Amazon you might find much of already in your Amazon music account and available to stream from their app.

You can do it from dropbox too, though the music playback is a bit slow.

That I didn't know, seems like an easy way to legalise a music collection which originated from questionable sources though...

Hmm if using that attached all the time it looks a great way to damage the socket.
Odd that they removed the internal capability to access it with moto G in 4.4
