We're used to playing second fiddle to our American friends when it comes to seeing new kit arriving on the shelves, but Motorola is worse than most, often making us wait more than half a year for handsets people are already getting tired of in the US.
So we should no doubt be grateful to hear the news that the Motorola Atrix 4G, which went on sale in the States only last month, may have been lined up by T-Mobile for a June release here in the UK.
T-Mobile has stuck up the obligatory Coming Soon page for the Atrix, giving you the chance to register your interest and receive updates on further developments.
The Everything Everywhere network itself doesn't say anything specific about launch dates, but Android Community is claiming a June launch date, though without giving any justification. Still, considering it's now mid-March we wouldn't expect a Coming Soon page to exist for a phone more than three months ahead of its launch, so we'll happily go along with that for now.
Just to remind you, the Atrix is one of the new dual-core smartphone brigade we've been seeing a lot of lately. It throws in a 4in qHD screen too, and over in the US is compatible with the LTE next-gen mobile network, hence the 4G in its full title.
Of course, we won't be getting those super-fast networking speeds here in the UK because of a lack of infrastructure, but we're still looking forward to the Atrix taking its local bow – whenever that is.
